Optimizing electrical work: Introducing the Pandora ALT-307 tester

When installing electronic devices in modern cars, such as alarms, it is difficult to do so without a variety of tools: testers, oscilloscopes, various load simulators, signal generators of all kinds, sets of electric probes, and special devices that facilitate work in difficult areas without causing damage to the vehicle’s wiring and electronics.

A mistake in this work can be very costly. Therefore, we present a special device designed to make the life of automotive electricians or specialists in automotive electronic systems easier.

Introducing the new tester Pandora ALT-307!

Pandora ALT-307 tester continues the legacy of the previous model, Pandora ALT-205, retaining all its useful features, upgrading and modernizing some of them.

In the new model, the ergonomics of the device’s operation and handling have been improved. We have worked with constructive criticism and wishes from numerous grateful users.

In the new tester, we have used several new but highly desirable solutions — first, the grounding cable is now secured to the tester with a special locking mechanism and will not accidentally disconnect from the device in the event of a sudden “pull.”

Moreover, ALT-307 can also be used as a multimeter — the kit includes additional cables with banana plugs and replaceable tips, needles of various lengths, alligator clips, connectors, etc. This solution allows you to test cables in connectors with a small diameter (2.5 mm or less).

Pandora ALT-307 now features a built-in LiPo battery, which charges via the USB-C port integrated into the back of the device. For many users, this is more convenient than the previous version, which operated on a replaceable AAA battery, and now a 15-minute charge will last for dozens of hours of active work with the new device.

The new tester is built with a modern and much more powerful microcontroller, offering greater capabilities for analyzing complex and fast signals. And the voltage measurement range now accounts for the 48-volt voltage in the latest cars, not just the 12 volts as before (up to 16 V). Additionally, the measurement accuracy can easily compete with other devices, as the range selection is automatic and calibration during production is performed in both ranges with multiple points.

Pandora ALT-307 has acquired a new, bright OLED display with higher resolution than the ALT-205 model, expanding the possibilities for displaying information.

The “relay test” function is now available — this happens when a 12-volt voltage is supplied to the front receiver from the built-in converter. It is very convenient: you can not only check the functionality of the circuit but also test the contacts of a relay or light up a car bulb.

The new device has the capability for software updates via Bluetooth 5.0 connection and the Pandora Specialist app on any mobile phone.
