Pandora engineers continue to actively work to expand the list of supported cars for climate control from the Pandora Connect app.
Last week, after successfully completing the final stage of testing, the firmware was released for all modern Pandora/Pandect telemetry systems, which added full control of the air conditioning system to the popular Tesla Model 3 cars.
Installing a Pandora system in a Tesla car now allows owners to control the air conditioning system using the Pandora Connect mobile/web and Pandora Online apps!
Specifically:
1) Climate on and off and temperature setting
2) Choice of Heating or cooling inside
3) Activate Heated Seats
4) Activation of heated rear windshield and side mirrors
5) Activation of the Defrost function – quick heating of the interior
6) Activate air conditioning to maximum
Many Tesla car owners already use similar functionality in the standard Tesla app, but our solution is more convenient and functional for everyday use.
Indeed, in normal operation, the car’s modem “sleeps”, and in order for owners to control the car, they must “wake it up” by sending an SMS to the car’s SIM card number. In addition, Pandora’s systems display important data such as temperature / battery status and with a simple press of a button in the app in winter, you can activate the pre-heating of the battery before charging at a fast charging station, so that the car can receive maximum charging power with minimal damage to the battery!
The engineers of our company continue to work actively and soon they will present an update package for several more popular car brands, which will have very interesting and, as always, new features!
