Our company continues to vigorously develop specialized sensors along with a huge list of peripheral accessories for Pandora systems that work with the reliable Bluetooth protocol. Today, we are pleased to announce the upcoming release of the new standalone DMS-105 BT sensor, which is an improved model of the popular miniature door sensors DMS-100 BT and DMS-101 BT.
The new Pandora DMS-105 BT wireless sensor contains all the features of the previous model with a built-in accelerometer and a pair of “magnet sensors” to recognize impacts, turns and door openings. The new sensor is made of special plastic resistant to ultraviolet radiation, which does not turn yellow from direct exposure to sunlight for many years of use.
Particular emphasis is placed on resistance to aggressive environments, therefore, along with absolute tightness (ensuring the highest fault tolerance) there is an additional leak sensor. After all, the Pandora 105 BT was originally developed for marine transport and will be included in the package of special safety systems for boats and jet skis, Pandora Marine.
As a result, we have the possibility of unlimited use of the 105 BT sensor, the flexibility of which allows it to be installed in any location, providing reliable protection.
The DMS-105 BT sensor is powered by a CR123A battery. An economical algorithm ensures its uninterrupted operation for more than one year of actual operation. Proprietary special power consumption protocols are a novelty for our engineers because DMS sensors are also used to protect luggage on motorcycles, where any other alarm system can zero out a low capacity motorcycle battery in just a few hours, but not Pandora systems.
The new Pandora DMS-105 BT sensor is also useful for organizing the monitoring and security of valuable cargo in the cases of trucks (or vehicles carrying cargo). The sensor records the position, impacts and air temperature inside the truck, which is especially important for maintaining temperature conditions during transport.
In addition, the sensor is easily placed on the garage door and reacts to impacts or break-ins. As a result, our user will receive a notification in the event of an attempted car theft much earlier than when the attacker reaches the car itself. Also, if the garage or basement of a private house suddenly floods, then thanks to the built-in leak sensor, the owner will be the first to know. In short the uses of the sensor vary!
The new model DMS 105BT, extends Pandora’s range of miniature BT (BlueTooth) sensors, which are extremely popular for monitoring the numerous windows, doors and hatches of modern caravans and trailers. The Pandora Camper and Pandora Camper PRO motorhome alarm models have the ability to work with 12 DMS-XXX BT sensors at the same time and there is no need to run hundreds of meters of cables throughout the cabin. Proprietary Bluetooth wireless protocols provide a stable and secure connection even at a considerable distance from the base unit.
We hope that the new Pandora DMS-105 BT sensor will not become less popular than its predecessors and will find many more original uses by professionals and consumers in the market. The added functionality makes it the most flexible, energy efficient, reliable and compact solution on the market. It will soon be available on all major EU markets!
