Black-Box Functionality

All data, along with GPS location, is recorded so that if the GSM signal is lost, it can be immediately sent to the cloud server once the connection is restored.

This “Black Box” technology is important because the signal often gets interrupted or fluctuates during vehicle movement, which is necessary in areas with low coverage or when there is a temporary interruption due to SIM card renewal issues, providing:

  1. Reliability: If the GSM signal is lost, no data is lost, as it’s stored and transmitted once the connection is restored. This ensures there are no gaps in monitoring.
  2. Vehicle Tracking: In the case of theft or other emergencies, “Black Box” technology helps track the vehicle’s location, even if the GSM signal is unstable.

Anti-hijacking Protection

Car hijacking refers to the theft of a vehicle, usually by using force against the driver. Thieves approach the vehicle in a public place, such as a traffic light or a parking lot, and by using force or at gunpoint force the driver to abandon the car.

Pandora Smart V4 with Anti-Hijack technology will block the engine after one minute, allowing the thief to drive the vehicle and get away from the owner. The distance ensures the driver’s safety. Unable to restart the engine, the thief will abandon the vehicle.
