Pandora Smart v3 has an additional protection shield for the ultimate safety of your vehicle. When the "Active Protection" function is active, the Pandora alarm system is in constant communication with the company's internet servers, in order to control your car's GSM/GPS signals in real time. So, even if would-be thieves try to use special equipment to block the GSM or GPS signal, such as jammer devices, cutting off all alert communication from the car, Pandora Servers immediately recognize it and notify the owner via Push-messages and E-mail.
Most alarms arm/disarm from the car's factory keys, so if the thief is equipped with a device that multiplies the range of the key or has intercepted the rolling codes of the factory key, it disarms the alarm at the same time. Prohibition Disarm technology prohibits disarming the alarm if the driver ID-Tag is out of range (away from the car). In this way it protects your car more effectively than a simple alarm system.
