Pandora has enriched the anti-theft protection of the new Moto EVO alarm system with new modern technologies.
One of the most important is the integration of Assisted-GPS (A-GPS) which helps to locate the motorcycle, with greater precision (even in places where there cannot be a GPS satellite signal).
GPS satellite signal cannot pass through large buildings, urban tunnels or even trees in certain cases. Signal transmissions has become a challenging process even with the use of modern technologies. Assuming a satellite is not directly overhead at locations affected by the above characteristics, it becomes quite challenging to accurately locate an object (a motorcycle in our case). As a result, GPS signal accuracy is greately decreased.
For some good news, motorcycles are receiving satellite signals relatively easier than a car, but, on the other hand, it is easier for thieves to move and hide a motorcycle in places with low signal coverage.
In addition, there are certain devices on the market that block (¨Signal Jamming¨) GPS signals (and/or GMS signals as well) thus making it impossible to locate the motorcycle only by the satellite receiver.
